Stormwater Retrofitting Demystified! This one day training is for Local Governments to Cost Effectively implement Retrofits to meet MS-4 Permit and Bay TMDL Requirements. This training is a partnership with the Chesapeake Stormwater Network and DNR Habitat Restoration and Conservation program. For many communities, stormwater retrofits are a complex, mysterious and challenging topic. Local officials have a lot of questions and concerns about how on how they will impact their community and their limited budgets. At “Retrofitting Demystified!” we will present a practical, cost-effective approach to solve the local retrofit challenge. Learn about the latest retrofit techniques, including green street retrofits. Find how to quickly calculate pollutant reduction credits for your MS4 permit and Bay TMDL, as well as learning new strategies for getting the greatest reductions at the lowest cost, while maximizing local benefits. (6 CM Credits) The Chesapeake Stormwater Network (CSN) is an organization whose mission is to improve on the ground implementation of more sustainable stormwater management and environmental site design practices in each of 1300 communities and seven states in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. The Network aligns and integrates the efforts of thousands of individuals working on the stormwater problem across the Bay, and focuses on improved stormwater manuals, permits, programs, training and technical assistance to meet its mission.
